Y'know how there's the typical type of "hero" who turns out to be a twist villain? Why don't we have enough villains becoming twist heroes? ESPECIALLY if they still look and pretend to be like a villain after their turn to the good side?

It is with this concept we find Toakaro, who actually first appears in TAOA 2 as one of King Bowser's Lieutenants! Toads are rare to find in Bowser's army, and unluckily was born into it, eventually becoming ranked that high and becoming familiar with the other higher-ups in the army. After the events of TAOA 2 though, where Andlfyer fought Toakaro and Bowser FAILED miserably on total MK conquest... he decided to quit his job and turn to the good side.

The only problem with that is because of his history, it was SUPER difficult to establish a decent living. He had to live on the streets for a good while... until he struck gold when he was offered a role as host of... The Mushroom Dungeon of Hell! A reality gameshow similarly functional to real life Big Brother, except taking place in the most hellish of conditions (Not actually)

It is through this gameshow where Andlfyer, who auditions and gets in the show with no small amount of convincing FROM Toakaro, where the two meet again. And in this meeting something horrible occurs that puts reputations in peril. And Toakaro is more than happy to prove he changed by helping Andlfyer overcome it. For good.

Toakaro as a person will mess with your head. You'd think he's still a villain with his abillity to command a menacing prescence, speak and act like a cartoonish villain, and seem like he might ruin everything last second... but he doesn't. He acts like a villain as a coping mechanism, and actually is a decent guy! He's charming, comedic, and knows a thing or two about putting on a show. You can't go wrong with a PHENOMENAL actor like this Toad!

Fun fact: Toakaro is based on the Devil's Tooth fungus (Hydnellum peckii), which "bleeds" a red sap occasionally! This is also why Toakaro occasionaly drools orange liquid from his mouth, because his mushroom cap is pumping that throughout his system! His blood is still red, though. (Spoilered due to possibly being disturbing)
